Elections 2.0 presentation available online
ZINC's Brian Singh discusses social media as a powerful democratic - and demographic - phenomena
Professionally, as a market researcher and, personally, as an early adopter and active social media enthusiast, ZINC Research president Brian F. Singh has acquired several years of first-hand experience with social media trends and applications. And last year, he also got to apply his knowledge of social media resources during Calgary's mayoral race, as part of the Naheed Nenshi's innovative, election-winning campaign team.

Last month, Singh summarized his social media insights, and lessons learned, in an in-depth presentation, "Elections 2.0," in which he also referred to the significant role of social media in other democratic phenomena, including the recent events of Tunisia, Egypt and elsewhere. The presentation took place at an event hosted by the Calgary chapter of TechMAP, an emerging thought leadership community for technology, marketing, advertising and public relations professionals and evangelists. TechMAP recorded the presentation on video, and has now published the complete presentation in two separate sections.
